Twelve years ago, Kerry Spencer took a photo of her little boy with Santa at Provo Towne Centre Mall in Utah. This year, when she posted it on Twitter, it went viral for one hilarious reason.
If the skeptical sideways glance wasn't a big enough giveaway, the toddler's hands are touching in an unusual way. Spencer explains why in her tweet, "We taught our baby sign language. This is the sign for 'help.' You're welcome."
Although it's tradition for Spencer to post this photo every year, this year it went viral with over 7,000 retweets and over 28,000 likes. And after commenters mentioned that Spencer's son was doing the sign wrong, she tweeted out how to do the correct "help" sign (along with a reminder that he was one at the time).
And to all the commenters saying he did it wrong, he was one! Give the poor guy a break! 😂
