  • The type of man you're attracted to says a lot about your personality. While we don't like to stereotype anyone, you might notice a general pattern in the types of people you fall for, whether it's the bad boys, the all around nice guys, or anything in between. Which type of man do you tend to date?

  • 1. The big flirt

  • So you can't resist the overly flirtatious men. You know they flirt with everyone, and they may even have the reputation of being a player, but you just love the way they makes you feel whenever their attention is on you.

  • Your preference reveals both your fun-loving personality and your yearning for acceptance from others. You love the big flirts because they are the funnest type of men to be around - you like playing the game with them, and the fun of it outweighs the fact that he's been around the "dating block" a few times. But you also have a deep yearning to gain approval and acceptance from those around you ... especially boys.

  • 2. The all around nice guy

  • You're always falling for the men who are little sweethearts. They're kind, on the quiet side, humble and so loving.

  • When you're attracted the sweet guys, your personality is most likely along these lines: on the plus side, you're pretty smart. The nice guys are typically the ones who will treat you right, plus they're pretty reliable. But on the other hand, your choice in men also reveals you're not much of a risk taker or thrill seeker. The nice guy may be a smart choice, but he's also a safe choice.

  • 3. The bad boy

  • Motorcycles. Cool narcissism. Daredevils. These are all things that can make you swoon, even though you know better (for the most part).

  • If you just can't help but be attracted to these types of men, you definitely have a free-spirited, risk-taking personality. You like adventure and nothing really scares you. But you also lack a little self-confidence, as bad boys can be a self-sabotaging attraction. You love the thrill, but will also need to be willing to get stood up every once in a while. Bad boys aren't always necessarily a poor choice when it comes to your dating options, but they get the title "bad" for a reason.

  • 4. The fine arts major

  • They're passionate and creative, and you just can't resist them. These men just seem so full of life, excitement and talent - how could you stay away?

  • On the one hand, you're trusting and have the skill of believing in people when most others don't. You're supportive, and you're not judgmental. On the other hand, you might be a little too trusting. While it's good to believe in others, you might be putting others before yourself a bit too often.

  • 5. The arrogant narcissist

  • They radiant confidence and self-esteem, and you just can't stay away. These men aren't the kindest, but they're so full of confidence that they draw you in.

  • Your taste in men reveals that you are both forgiving and kind. You've also got tough skin and know how to take people's criticism ... and dish it back out. But with this type of man, you'll have a fleeting (rather than long-lasting) relationship. Your personality might also allow people to take advantage of you.

  • 6. The pretty boy

  • You just can't stay away from the boys with the pretty eyes, great hair and toned bodies. They definitely have a strong appeal.

  • Liking pretty boys says a lot about you - you're pretty comfortable with yourself and don't feel the need for a man to be macho or dominant. You're also good at appreciating beauty. But you also might need to take a step back and make sure you're not valuing people for their looks more than what's on the inside.

  • You can learn a lot about yourself by the type of man you're repeatedly attracted to. No one type of man is "the best" - though you may beg to differ if you have a favorite.
