  • A sweet 7-year-old girl born with dwarfism experienced a shining moment of magic amidst her life of countless medical problems.

  • Daisy Perez has achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism that literally means "without cartilage formation." Because of her condition, Daisy is no stranger to surgeries. She's spent a large part of her life in a hospital due to numerous surgeries on her head, legs, back and neck.

  • A nurse at Dallas's Children's Health watched Daisy's bravery through hardship after hardship and nominated Daisy for Make-A-Wish. Make-A-Wish Foundation is a non-profit organization that grants "wishes" to children with life-threatening illnesses.

  • They approved Daisy for a wish soon after the nomination, and she decided to wish for a Disney World trip to Florida so her brother and sister could share in the experience. She also hoped to meet her favorite Disney princess: Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

  • An excited Daisy put on her sparkly, yellow Belle gown and headed to the park in hopes of meeting her princess hero.

  • While visiting the French section of Disney World's Epcot park, Daisy spotted a brunette character in a blue dress. The one thing Daisy looked forward to more than anything was happening - she was meeting Belle. But her wish more than came true.

  • Belle did something out of character for a Disney Park actor - she asked if Daisy and her family had any plans after this character meet-and-greet. When the group said no, Belle replied, "Great! What if I take you on a tour of France?"

  • Daisy couldn't help but break down from this wonderful surprise offer, and, hand-in-hand, the two princesses walked through France together.

  • "Daisy was jumping up and down from excitement and was bawling her eyes out when Belle told her she would take her on the tour," said Patricia Chavez, Daisy's aunt. "Daisy was sobbing from happiness, and everyone around her was crying, too."

  • Even though Disney characters acting in the parks are never supposed to break character, Belle was so touched at Daisy's excitement and love that she almost broke down crying as well at the end of the tour.

  • "It was very special and sweet and everyone walking around was smiling at the very precious sight," Chavez said. "It was honestly too cute for words."

  • Belle kneeled down to give Daisy a good-bye hug at the end of their tour together.

  • "For a day, Daisy didn't have to worry about surgeries or doctor's appointments," Patricia said. "She just got to be carefree and have fun. Disney World, Make A Wish, & Give Kids the World really made a difference in Daisy's life. They are all amazing organizations and people's donations really do make a difference."
