How can you truly tell if he has fallen in love with you? Something like this is tricky to know for sure sometimes, but if your man does these eight things, there's no doubt he's head over heels for you.
1. He makes physical contact
He'll delicately touch you, brushing back wisps of hair from your eyes, resting his hand on your leg while you're sitting and holding the small of your back to bring you closer to him. Don't let these tiny touches go unnoticed - don't forget the romantic smooches, soft hugs and natural-feeling hand holding as you walk together.
2. He looks for excuses to spend more time with you
When my man and I were falling in love, he would stay up late talking with me even when he had early mornings to wake up for (the poor tired thing). Even though he was exhausted he would drop by my place to say a quick good morning on his way to work.
That's how I knew he was totally in love.
Your darling will do the same - he will look for ways to spend more time with you, whether he's sacrificing sleep, foregoing other hobbies or procrastinating something on his to-do list.
When he's truly head over heels for you, he'll show interest in the things you like, even if it's something that isn't exactly up his alleyway. Of course, just because you love long distance running or shopping doesn't mean he'll be signing up for marathons or following you around with all your shopping bags. But a man truly in love will be interested in your hobbies and passions because he's interested in you.
4. He lights up whenever you're around
He'll brighten up when you're together because being around you (no matter what you're doing) makes him happier than anything else. He'll smile a lot, and he might even tell you how much happier he's grown ever since you came into his life.
This is a dead giveaway that he's in love with you. Whenever he talks about future plans, you won't be absent from them. He'll get tickets for both of you for a concert that is months away. Your mister will talk about your next year together and where you want to road trip and he might even mention marriage.
6. He wants to meet your family and friends
Meeting the family can be a scary topic to bring up. When my sweetheart and I were dating, he practically invited himself over to my family's house before I worked up the courage to ask him if he wanted to meet them.
When you bring up meeting your friends or family, he won't object or make excuses, because he's in love and committed. He might show signs of nervousness at meeting the gang, but that's because he loves you and wants the people you love to like him.
7. He celebrates with you
Who a person chooses to celebrate with tells a lot about who they care about most. Whenever a holiday comes around or good news comes his way, your man will choose to celebrate with you. He'll go out dressed up with you on Halloween, invite you out for a celebratory dinner when he gets that promotion and give you a present (or a few) in December ... all because he loves you.
