FDA found an undisclosed ingredient in dino nuggets and now they are on recall; here's what you need to know

The company is asking you to throw the food away or return it for a full refund.

  • But there's a hidden ingredient in these favorites that could be potentionally harmful to your child.

  • You wouldn't think you'd have to worry about your child's milk allergy when you give them some dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets, but the company Yummy Yummu Dino buddies chicken breast nuggets issued a voluntary recall because it may contain undeclared milk.

  • "For those who don't have milk allergies, the nuggets are 100 percent safe," the company said in a statement. No matter where the nuggets were purchases, the company urges consumers to return the box for a full refund (or throw them away).

  • So far, no one has reported any injury or illness from eating the nuggets.

  • The nuggets affected had a UPC product code of 6456322607. If the nuggets in your freezer have this product code, it's especially important to get rid of them if your child has a milk allergy.

  • The company is working on fixing the problem, so your family's favorite nuggets will be soon be safe to consume - with or without a milk allergy.
