  • Having a "person" is a privilege that everyone should be able to have at some point in their life. The term, "my person" can have a different meaning for everyone, but generally speaking this person is someone who you can be 100 percent yourself around. You never get sick of them, and you are a better person when you spend time with them. They lift you up and encourage you to be your best self, and you do the same for them.

  • This person can be a spouse, fiancee, significant other or even a very best friend. Whoever this person may be, they are your closest friend.

  • Here are 10 signs that you've found that person:

  • 1. You laugh at all the same things

  • You and your person could sit and laugh at something for a good 20 minutes and other people wouldn't even it think was funny. You also text hilarious gifs and memes back and forth all day and use them as a means of conversation instead of actually texting.

  • 2. You talk about everything together

  • You talk about your hopes and dreams, your worries and fears, that hilarious video you saw earlier in the day and everything in between. You can go from talking about everyday topics to having a deep discussion about life without anything being awkward or uncomfortable.

  • 3. Everything reminds you of each other

  • I can't even tell you how many times a day I see something that reminds me of my husband. When you're constantly seeing things that remind you of them, it may be a sign that they are your person.

  • 4. They're the first person you go to with exciting news

  • You got a promotion? You reached a high score on your favorite game? You just saw an adorable puppy? Your person is the very first person you're going to tell, because you know they'll be just as excited as you are. Besides, it's way more fun to be excited together.

  • 5. You make each other want to be better

  • You push each other's limits and support each other's hopes and dreams. You may even find yourself worrying about the presentation they have to give at their job or the test they're going to take for school. You genuinely want that person to grow and succeed, and they want the same for you.

  • 6. You would do anything for them

  • Oh, the things you do for love. Before you find your person you may absolutely detest seafood and the next thing you know, you're with your person at a seafood restaurant because you know it will make them happy. The best part is that they would do the same for you in a heartbeat.

  • 7. You get so excited for their birthday

  • I seriously get more excited for my husband's birthday than I do for mine, mostly because I love buying him gifts! When you've found your person, you'll get so excited when you find something they would love and get it for them. You also find great joy in celebrating the wonderful human being your person is.

  • 8. You can order for each other

  • You can surprise your person with food and not worry about if you got them the right thing because you know their exact order. Even if your person gets something different every time you go out, you'll know that and feel confident in getting them anything because you know they'll like it no matter what.

  • 9. Your love grows every day

  • I didn't think it was possible to love someone as much as I love my husband while we were dating, and that love grows every day. When your heart is so full of love it could burst and the next day there is somehow more love in there for that person, hold them tight. This is a definite sign you've found your person.

  • If you try to picture a life without them and can't do it, this is a sign that you've found your person. If they make you happier than you've ever been, they treat you well and you can't picture a life without them, your person is awesome and you should definitely hold them close.
