  • You love spending time with you man, and want to show it...unfortunately it's early in your relationship and you don't want to scare him away. Here are seven small, subtle signs that show you really, really like him (without chasing him away):

  • 1. Groom him

  • Is his tie a little crooked? Casually fix it. This shows you're paying attention and not afraid to break the touch barrier. Breaking this barrier is huge; he may have no clue you like him if you are still in the "no touching" phase.

  • You can always break the touch barrier with a playful touch on the arm or a hug that lingers just a second too long. Handshakes do not count - This is a chance to be a little flirtatious. Don't cling to his arm, but short, playful touches show that you are interested in him.

  • 2. Compliment him

  • Nothing will bring a smile to your man's face faster than you giving him a thoughtful compliment. Be genuine. Don't be creepy by mentioning something you saw on his Facebook page from 2 years ago...Unless you are already good friends, showing that you stalked him might turn him off.

  • Go ahead and stalk your man, but don't tell him that you did.

  • 3. Relax (perhaps into his arms)

  • Be yourself around your beau; You don't have to be anyone else. If he is worth it, he will love the real you. Allow yourself to be comfortable around him. This tells your mister that you trust him enough to be yourself. You will also find that the two of you will connect on a deeper level and have a happier relationship because there's nothing to hide behind.

  • Cuddling is also a great way to relax with your man. This shows you like being close to him, but please don't force him to cuddle. That will just send him running.

  • 4. Make more of an effort with your appearance

  • Put some thought into your outfit and maybe spend a little extra time on hair and make-up. A deserving man will love you in your sweats or in a stunning outfit, with or without makeup, but putting a little extra effort with your look shows him that you want to look good for him. You don't have to go over the top; even a little lip gloss can go a long way.

  • 5. Show some interest

  • Text him about something he talked about during your conversation. He'll notice how attentive you are and how much you care about his quirky habit he casually mentioned. And when you are with him, lean toward him and make eye contact. This is the universal body language for "I'm interested in what you are saying."

  • If you are not sitting across from each other or if leaning forward would invade his personal space, make sure your body is facing him. Cross your legs toward him and point your toes his way. This sends the same message as leaning toward him (and if you want, you can also break that touch barrier).

  • 6. Casually introduce him to friends

  • Everyone knows that introducing a man to your family is a big deal, so if you try to do that too early, you might scare him off. Friends are a different matter. Introduce him to your friends at a party or casual gathering. A social environment will help your man to feel comfortable, making it easier for him to bond with your friends.

  • 7. Love yourself

  • A confident woman usually attracts a confident man. When you are confident around your mister, he'll know that not only can you be yourself around him, but you also like yourself. This shows him that you are ready for a relationship.

  • Men often don't get the hints we women drop, but the man you like should notice these seven signs. If he doesn't return the same kind of interest, don't give up on him. It might just take time for him to realize he doesn't want to live his life without you.
