Being from the Pacific Northwest, I have been lucky to live in a world full of beautiful trees, fantastic culture and hipsters galore. While I love the forests right in my own backyard, there are dozens of other wooded wonderlands all over the world.

Dark Entry Forest - Cornwall, Connecticut, USA
Dudley Town (also known as the "Village of the Damned") is a ghost town right outside of Cornwall. The site was once home to many, but due to mysterious murders, hallucinations, strange sightings, and suicides in the area, it has now been abandoned. You cannot go wandering the forest grounds today, but just a peek into these chilling woods is quite the site.
Known for the "bluebell carpet" covering the forest floor in the spring, visitors travel from all around the world to visit. A bus takes you to the entrance of the forest where you can find solitude and enjoy this peaceful site.
This forest is often referred to as the "Bermuda triangle of Romania". Most people who live near the forest are afraid to enter thinking that those who do go in never come out. Strange events have occurred in the forest...go in and see for yourself.
The unbelievable scenery, rich history, wildlife, and archaeology are just a few things that draw people to such a site. Spend the day on foot traveling through the magnificent sights you cannot find anywhere else.
This park includes the Lenzhir Hot Springs, Lantai Nursery, Virgin Forest park, Mt. Independent Preservation Area, Chuifung Lake and more. The sunrise is spectacular and snow-capped mountains are to die for...but don't take my word for it.
Don't sell yourself short of a fantastic vacation and visit these exotic forests now!
