  • What would you tell the future?

  • Kid President makes some pretty valid points about the future and having a positive outlook about it. He points out a lot of people have a pretty glum view of the future, but he believes "It's going to be awesome!"

  • He says, "Sure there's bad things in the world, but there's also...PIZZA! Wait...I can think of something better..." Jokes aside, there is plenty to be positive about, even if it is pizza — yum!

  • Even though there are terrible things in the world, including mean people, we can make a change. "Wouldn't it be cool if we could just all be cool?" I think we can all agree that would be... well, cool. Kid president makes some other good points.

    • "Throw kindness around like confetti."

    • "Don't judge someone unless you've walked a mile in their shoes. Also, don't steal the shoes — borrow them. And then return them. And then, be friends."

    • "Make a ruckus for good."

    • "When life gives you lemons...don't post about it online! Make lemonade. Drink it. Dance."

    • "Be the reason somebody dances this week."

  • Change happens when we believe in each other and in ourselves. "Change a little, and you can change a lot." As parents, teachers, leaders or grandparents, we can change the future for good by inspiring children to be great people. Believing in them is believing in the future.

  • "Sure there's bad stuff in the world, but there's also YOU. Be kind. Be bold. Be awesome. Repeat. It's like shampoo, but with your life." He says that we all have a super power and that is to change the future.

  • That being said, what are you going to do to believe in the future? How can you be awesome today?
