Just one small act can make a difference in the life of someone else. Whether you say "hi" to someone in the grocery store or give a generous donation to those in need, you are making an impact in someone else's life.
Too often, we go through our busy lives, focusing on the next item on our to-do list. We pass people who may need our help, but we are so focused on our own lives that we become judgmental and don't stop to provide any help. Everyone has a story. Everyone has made choices that led them to where they are today, but even if those choices are poor, it doesn't mean we can't stop and assist.
Challenge yourself to perform one small act of service to someone you don't know each day. Then, take a minute to notice the difference in the lives of those you help as well as your own.
