How would you summarize what it's like to be a dad — or a parent for that matter?
Not so simple, is it?
This fun depiction of a father attempts just that. Fatherhood has ups and downs, crazy and calm times, and difficult and really fun moments. From fish funerals to young-love break-ups to "contact" sports, dads really have their work cut out for them. Read "Advice for all dads: How to step up to the parenting plate" for some guidance.
How would you respond if someone asked you what it is like to be a dad?
Having children and being a good dad takes effort, but most of all, it takes time.
Time for talking.
Time for playing.
Time for soothing wounds.
Time for teaching.
And, especially, time for loving.
As it says at the end of the clip, "Fatherhood: How much time do you have?" Spend time with your kids. That's what they really want and need. There's no regret to time well spent.
