Parents, as the school year comes to a close, let's take a moment to thank all of our amazing teachers. Make sure they know that we are grateful for the many hours they have spent educating our children. Believe it or not, it isn't easy trying to teach 20+ kids how to multiply by three or write a thesis statement.

We should also consider doing as the Holderness family suggests, by finding some of our old teachers and letting them know that we remember and appreciate all they did for us. I'm sure it would "make their year."

Write them a thank you note, give them a hug or get them a little gift. It doesn't matter what you do - just show those wonderful teachers that they are loved and appreciated. "Give 'em a hand."
